The author is Homer A. Rodeheaver 1880-1955 who was a wourld remowned evangelist and the music director of Billy Sunday’s Evangelistic Campaigns. He was born in Union Furnace, OH. In the Spanish American war he served as trombonist. In 1918 he worked in France with the YMCA. He was president o Rodeheaver Hall- Mack co and founder of Rodeheaver Boy’s Ranch in Palataka, FL.
